Gradings are an assessment of a student’s progress. They take place regularly at either Old Basing Village Hall or at SSKI’s Reading club.

Black belt gradings are held at the Honbu dojo in Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire.

A record of all your gradings are kept in your license book. These are superb achievements that you can be proud of forever. A license is required if you wish to attend classes and to take gradings as it covers insurance that must be renewed annually.
